Dr. Theodore Brook is joining the Bladen Legacy team as a plant genomics postdoc based at the University of Gothenburg and Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Theo earned his PhD from Imperial College London and RBG Kew. Theo specializes in genomic techniques, primarily population genetics and phylogenomics, and will be applying these techniques to the Bladen project to understand how plants have responded to past human activity.
